The School of Civil Engineering at the Universidad Industrial de Santander, located in Bucaramanga-Colombia, invited professor Astroza for a short-term visit in June 2023. Prof. Astroza gave two presentations: 1) Instrumentation and monitoring of civil structures and 2) Performance based seisimc assessment of bridges. During his 1 week stay, professor Astroza also visited the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, located in Bogotá-Colombia.
