Fernando Moyano, Structural Engineer and Civil, Structural, and Architectural Manager at Wood PLC, Chile, gave a seminar to our undergraduate and graduate students on May 31, 2019. His talk focused on the expected skills from junior civil engineers working in mining and metals projects. At the end of the seminar, Nicolas Barrientos (ING18), a former member of our research group and currently a junior structural engineer at Wood PLC, talked about his own experience and learning process working in important mining projects in Chile.
